Grading up to bigger spaces? Replace nothing.
Add bass modules that take the workload off the 4.5" driver. A 7.5" woofer paired with a matching 7.5" passive radiator transforms your monitor into a true three-way system, with increased power handling and deep, authoritative bass.
Technique
Bear with us for a moment — this is where great sound begins.
The human ear is most sensitive in the midrange — exactly where vocals and most musical detail live. That’s why our monitor is engineered so the bass-mid driver handles the majority of this critical range. The result? A remarkably natural, lifelike sound that lets you hear music the way it was meant to be heard.
By minimizing crossover complexity, we improve dynamics, clarity, and overall coherence. Our 4.5” drivers are perfectly sized for midrange reproduction, delivering a wide, immersive soundstage, seamless coverage across a broad frequency range, and impressively deep low-end for their size.

Measurements
We measured our speakers in a small, professionally treated studio.
These measurements provide a better indication of their real-world in-room performance than measurements taken in an anechoic chamber, where the influence of the room is removed.
In a typical living room, you can expect more room interaction and increased low-frequency energy, depending on the room and speaker placement.

Kickstarter lets us stay independent — no bank, no outside investors — so we can keep our full focus on the products we're building now and the ones we want to build next. Is this a finished, production-ready product, or still a concept?
The Lyssna Modular Monitor is real and finished, not a sketch. Working units have already been listened to and reviewed by independent Hi-Fi press — read the full review on Hifi.nl — and by the people behind the testimonials on this page. All four finishes are final. This campaign funds our first large production run.
