I came into contact with the modularly designed Lyssna loudspeaker system at an early stage. Listening to the monitors on their matching stands, I can only conclude that this is a very welcome addition to the higher-end audio segment.

And why would that be, you might ask?

These mini monitors don’t just deliver a highly pleasant tonal balance, reproducing every element with a realistic amount of energy — the soundstage they create in the room also makes the performance on certain albums feel almost tangible. This is an excellent starting point if you’re saving up for your first hi-fi system and plan to use it for a few years in a smaller living space.

If you move to a larger home, or want more atmosphere and a bass you can really feel in the room, this unique system can easily be expanded with a set of passive bass radiators that blend beautifully with the monitors. This principle is used more often, but at this price point the Lyssna offers a genuinely unique proposition. My early impressions of the first prototypes already showed that this set had real potential.

For professional and semi-professional music producers, this combination offers both a near-field mini monitor system and, when needed, an extremely dynamic full-range solution. If you produce music or entertainment more broadly, definitely put this smart system from Lyssna on your shortlist if you’re looking for a high-quality monitor system for your (home) studio that ticks every box on your wish list.
