What we collect, and why

Newsletter sign-up (“Notify me”)

If you sign up to be notified about our launch, we store the email address you provide. We use it only to send you updates about the Lyssna campaign and product launch — nothing else, and we don’t sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing us. Legal basis: your consent.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message by email so we can reply to you. We don’t store these messages anywhere else. Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering your question.

Cookies and analytics

At the moment, this website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies — only the technical cookies required to make forms work securely, which don’t require consent under the law.

If we start using Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, a cookie notice will appear at the bottom of the page. No analytics cookie is set until you click “Accept” — if you click “Decline”, none of the cookies below are used. Once accepted, the following cookies may be set:

• _ga — Google Analytics, distinguishes visitors, kept for up to 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — Google Analytics, remembers your session state, kept for up to 2 years.

Google processes this data outside the EU, under Google’s own privacy policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We also store your cookie choice itself in your browser (not a tracking cookie, and not shared with anyone) for up to 12 months, after which we’ll ask again.

Technical data

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs some technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running reliably. This is kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your data;
• withdraw consent at any time (this doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew it);
• object to how we process your data;
• lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

As the Lyssna Modular system and this website evolve — for example when our webshop goes live — we may update this policy. The date below shows when it was last changed.
